Fancy knot tying can be traced back to the sailing ship era where sailors had plenty of rope and lots of time on their hands to practice their craft.

The items on this page are long gone, but serve as examples of the fancy ropework I've made.

The Knot Boards can be designed with various backgrounds. I  typically tie 6 commonly used sailing knots and mount them in a wood shadow box.
